Usually, many customers don't add antifreeze in the radiator, but tap water directly from the faucet. After a long time, scale will be generated in the radiator, and the heat dissipation will be affected after long-term use.

Hard water can be used as cooling water after softening treatment. There are 2 ways as follow:

(1) Boil the hard water, the impurities will settle,then filter the upper clean water and pour it into the cooling system.

(2) Add softener in hard water. For example, add 40g caustic soda in 60L hard water, and after stirring, the impurities will  settle and the water will soften.

Radiator outside cleaning: Some radiators are used in a bad environment, such as construction sites. The radiator gaps may be blocked by debris, insects. which will affect the efficiency of the radiator. It can be sprayed with low-pressure hot water and detergent, sprayed from the front of the radiator to the fan. If spraying from the opposite will blow dirt into the center.
